How to Get Relief From Stress

Now a days, stress and anxiety are common experiences for most people. Extreme competition in work place, career tensions, daily pressure to fulfil target make us to be engaged in hard work or study most of the waking time in a day. Consequently we live a stressful life. If this stress is not reduced, life becomes a nightmare.

Here are some simple ways to relieve stress and anxiety.

1. Do exercise daily. There is a correlation or interaction between our mind and body. A healthy person lives a quality life. Physical exercise lowers stress hormones of our body, improves sleep quality and appetite, thus promotes mental wellbeing.

2. Stop over analysing situations that have not even happened yet. Deal with the situation as it comes, and react accordingly.

3. Follow your passion. The root of our passions is the drives of our unconscious mind. Satisfaction of our unconscious wishes gives us inner peace. This inner peace reduces all the stress and miseries.

4. Spend time with friends and family. We human is social being. We cannot without any social interaction. When your work pressure creates a distance between you and your friends and family, problem starts. Day by day low or no social engagement lead us in a stressful life. Social support from friends and family can help you get through stressful times.

5. Relax your mind and body. Continuous involvement in work can be stressful. So, take a break whenever you get a chance. Take a nap or breath deep, listen to your favourite music. In this way, you will stay calm and make yourself feel better.

6. Stop involving on other people’s problems. You have your own issues and dilemmas that you must take care of before you can even think of helping someone else. Sure, this may sound harsh and rude, but, you need to handle your life first.

7. Meditation is an excellent method of cleansing your mind from all type of negativity. Meditation helps to reduce stress, anxiety, tension, depression, and it increases inner peace, self-confidence and self-perception.

These ways are simple, but very useful for a good mental health.
