How to build self-confidence

How to Build Self-Consciousness

Self confidence is a positive mind-set. Lord Buddha taught us, “what we think, we become.” Our behaviour, acceptability, self-perception, point of view, gesture social perception everything depends upon our mind-set. If one’s mind-set is weak or negative, then s/he has low or no self-confidence level; and if mind-set is strong or positive, then it is called high or good self-confidence level.

Our wise ancestors taught us about ideal child rearing practices. But every individual has their own algorithm, separate point of view, intelligence level and educational background. Sob their different parenting styles affect their offspring’s  self-confidence level.

By the way, whatever your parent’s or caregiver’s parenting style was, you can still build a good or high self confidence level by yourself.

TIPS FOR BUILDING A GOOD SELF CONFIDENCE LEVEL :-

1. Focus at what you have already achieved. It is easy to lose confidence if you believe that you haven’t achieved anything. There are definitely many things you did successfully. Focus on those things and realise that you have the ability to do your job properly.

2. Set some goals and set out the steps you need to take to achieve them. Remember, you have the ability to solve any problem by yourself.

3. Always think positive. Positive thinking increases will power. Positive perception to your task makes you more and more confident.

4. Kill negative thoughts. Never allow a negative thinking in your mind at any cost. It decreases will power and is harmful for your confidence level.

5. Manipulate your subconscious mind chanting “I definitely can do it” repeatedly. Actually our self-confidence has it’s root in our subconscious mind. Once subconscious mind starts to believe that “you definitely can do it”, then it will supply you enormous courage and thus your confidence level will be high.

6. Try to find out something that you are really passionate about. Chances are, if you are interested or passionate about a certain activity, you are more likely to be motivated and you will build skills more quickly.

7. Stop seeking help while solving your problems. Dependence to others makes your self-confidence level lower. Try to solve all of your problems by yourself.

All of the above tips are very helpful to gain self-confidence. Though human personality is a vast topic, in this short space I tried to explain my view to you.

I will be back with another post.

Thank you.
